Over a week ago, DMEXCO have taken place on 11 and 12 September and is still on everyone’s lips. With 1,000 exhibitors and 550 speakers, the digital trade fair attracted around 41,000 visitors from all over the world. This year’s motto “Trust in You” focused above all on customer wishes. Besides, it appealed not only to the brand’s own self-confidence, but especially to the social responsibility associated with digitization, its effects, and advantages.
Digital solutions in the areas of e-commerce and online marketing were presented in a total of five halls. Thereof, the Future Park in hall 9 focused on new technologies. In that area, we also had our stand to personally present our digital fulfillment solution. The lively exchange with existing and new customers, partners and other interested parties as well as the visit of the BVDW Guided Tour was definitely a success for us. The quality of the visitors at the stand was representative of the enormous industry value of DMEXCO. Networking was made easier with the badge scanning tool, which allowed all contact details to be read into the DMEXCO app via QR code – day goodbye to business cards and welcome to the digital age!
Top speakers such as Jimmy Wales (Co-Founder Wikipedia) or Stephanie Buscemi (CMO Salesforce) were live on stage as part of the varied conference programme. As the lectures, seminars and work labs were always held in parallel throughout the day, DMEXCO uploaded the majority of the lectures onto its own DMEXCO video channel. Anyway, we were very happy about the many visitors to Christian’s lecture at the Future Park Stage I.
